The primary focus is around who you are as a unique individual, what this means for your current context and how this can help you thrive in your future career. Examples of some of the areas we will work on together:
People I work with where the primary focus is enhancing their current situation are often already clear on what matters most for them. This is a great starting point and allows for really “polishing the pearl”, building on a few key strengths that will be needed to keep at the top of their game, deliver on a key initiative, or ready themselves for the next stage of their career. Often these conversations become around context and situation. I have developed a simple framework to help with these conversations. Much like the simplicity of the GROW model, mine is called SOAR.
We all have moments or periods of time when things just become too much. Ideally we would take a break, but work demands will not allow for this. My work in this area is about your well-being and how we can re-energise you and set you up for continued success. The flagship offering here is a weekend retreat to a beautiful setting where you will re-connect with yourself and the wider world, have very different experiences than your daily life and the opportunity for formal 1-1 coaching and wider informal conversations.
The main reasons for people coming to coaching tend to be around performance, career or personal development and transformation. There is often change to be discussed. This may be change of role, the need to change performance or how to work in a period of personal or organisational change. At the heart of this the constant is always you. Coaching will raise your self-awareness and allow you to set your own personal development and growth path.
A typical coaching engagement is between 6 months to 1 year with flexibility available for case specific or urgent support. Face to face coaching is my preference where possible. As human beings we thrive through personal interaction but I understand that travel commitments and general ‘busyness’ do happen and I am enough of a pragmatist to understand the need for Skype/Zoom calls.
Coaching Supervision is essential for all coaches and this is who my Supervision offering is aimed at, i,e, coaches. I am qualified through Oxford Brookes University and supervise coaches at all stages of their personal development and coaching journey
